One small detail can make all the difference: the serving temperature.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When wine is served too cold, some of its aromas can remain hidden. When it is too warm, it may lose its sense of freshness and balance. As the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsetglobal.com\/knowledge-centre\/blog\/2022\/april\/26\/ideal-serving-temperatures-and-top-tips-for-wine-storage\">Wine &amp; Spirit Education Trust explains, different styles of wine show their best at different temperatures.<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a simple guide to help you enjoy every bottle at its best.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">White wine: chilled, but not ice-cold<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">White wines are best enjoyed chilled. The right temperature depends on the wine\u2019s body and character. As a guide:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><strong>Light, aromatic whites:<\/strong> 7\u201310\u00b0C.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Fuller-bodied whites or whites aged in oak:<\/strong> 10\u201313\u00b0C.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A very cold wine may feel refreshing, but excessive cold can mask its aromas. If you have just taken a bottle from the fridge and the wine seems too cold, leave it in the glass for a little while and taste it again.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For our K<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boubas-wines.gr\/en\/our-wines\/bottles\/klarakia-dry-white-wine\/\">larakia dry white made from Moschofilero<\/a>, we recommend serving at <strong>7\u20138\u00b0C<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ros\u00e9 wine: cool and balanced<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ros\u00e9 is also served chilled. For many dry ros\u00e9 wines, a good starting point is <strong>8\u201312\u00b0C<\/strong>, depending on the wine\u2019s style and the producer\u2019s recommendation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A cool temperature brings out the wine\u2019s freshness. Avoiding excessive cold also allows its aromas to emerge.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We recommend serving our K<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boubas-wines.gr\/en\/our-wines\/bottles\/klarakia-dry-rose-wine\/\">larakia dry ros\u00e9 made from Agiorgitiko<\/a> at <strong>7\u20138\u00b0C<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Red wine: what does \u201croom temperature\u201d really mean?<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We often hear that red wine should be served at room temperature. However, a warm room\u2014especially in summer or near a heater\u2014may be much warmer than the wine needs.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For dry red wines, these temperatures are a useful starting point:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><strong>Light and fruity reds:<\/strong> approximately 12\u201315\u00b0C.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Fuller-bodied, more structured reds:<\/strong> approximately 15\u201318\u00b0C.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the bottle has been kept in a warm room, a short time in the fridge before serving can help bring it to a more suitable temperature. The time needed depends on the starting temperature of the bottle and the temperature of the fridge.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sweet wines may be served at different temperatures, so it is always worth following the recommendation for each label.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A few tips for the table<\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><strong>Use an ice bucket with water and ice<\/strong> to chill a bottle or keep white and ros\u00e9 wines cool at the table.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Leave room in the glass.<\/strong> Filling it about one-third full allows you to swirl the wine and enjoy its aromas.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Hold the glass by the stem<\/strong>, so that your hand does not warm the wine too quickly.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Follow the producer\u2019s recommendation.<\/strong> Temperatures are a helpful guide, and every wine has its own character.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Boubas Winery, we believe every bottle deserves the time and care that allow it to express itself.
